fresh flowers, decor, and moods
As growing up I always enjoyed having fresh flowers around the house. I also grew up having beautiful plants around the house. Now, that I pay more attention to detail, I am kid who enjoyed the wonders of nature in our house. I still do, ironically I get very excited to bring flowers home. I use to tell my friends, that it was my therapy. Fresh flowers cost less, than my co- pay to the therapist depending on the bouquet give or take...

Fire Pit...
Watching the wood burn adds a bit of a charm to our yard on this late evening. There is a un explainable calmness in the air! The swaying of the branches worry me sudden growth of fire might catch the branches. Feel like my brain is exercising again, which I am happy to enjoy again!

home made bath salts...
Summer brings a lot, working in the yard could make ones body a bit painful at the end of the day but, in an unusual way. A bit of a satisfied pain and lately I have been going through it bit more often due to weeding and cleaning. No matter what, I believe a good long soak in the tub can magically cure all aches.
Gathering all the materials took a while but the process was fairly easy. After the initial attempt we decided to make few batches for gift giving.

De- clutter, Order, and Role-modeling...
Since we have downsized our living space. I have a difficult time creating master bedroom/study room in our cozy little house. I do not know how I have a huge mess on my chest of drawers. I am totally responsible for this since I have created it.
It holds everything and anything you can possibly name that can go on a chest of drawers. Sometimes it disturbs me when I have to study. I guess I need an order in my environment to study. I kept postponing to clear out this space saying I am going to get to it tomorrow. Then some days I feel like that tomorrow never comes.
I will be going to work this Fall while in school I need order and I need my room to be a functional space in every possible way. I have acquired so much stuff that I hardly use.
I took control and went through every little thing and cleaned the entire place. When I was done I was so happy that I have created and orderly space in my room.
I tends to spend so much time creating order for kids and it was my turn. I felt If I did not create that space they are not going to internalize order into their life. It was in a way kind of role modeling. I am very happy with the space that I have created for myself.
Quote of the day “light a dark corner"
Enjoy!

How to make Cabochons Jewelry at home...
I always wanted to make these beautiful ear studs at home and I finally did it. It is so much fun to make these and give them as gifts during summer for all your girlfriends. I wish I knew them when I was younger then I would make a set to all my friends at school.
They are easy and fun to make. All you need is a good creative time, quiet time, and nice warm tea. I know I am just kidding but you can make them in a jiffy.

Mani & Pedicure...
After a long time I treated myself for a long overdue mani & pedicure treat. The new shellac is amazing but I have not use it yet. According many that I know seems to lasting for 14 days. I think that is a BIG.
O.K. lets be realistic I cannot keep my manicure for more than a week if I did it is huge accomplishment. The amount of cooking and cleaning I do it will be a miracle if I did.
They would not do it on fridays and the weekends I guess those are the big days for salons. I chose the SALES promotion. I really hope I can maintain this till Saturday. After that it is going to be history.
