Rain Rain Come again...

We Northern Eastern’s was waiting for Rain. I love spring showers. So the bulbs can showcase there beautiful flowers. Since we planted the grass seeds we were looking forward for spring showers.

Well, it was finally here. I was happy to see the raindrops. Happy to ware my rain boots. I can see the plants are being so thankful for the rain. 

I woke up to the sounds of the raindrop and was thrilled watch it!

Bird watching…

We have been working hard this summer cleaning our yard. Good news is we can see our property line before we couldn’t it was an overgrowing mess. Thanks to every one Panduka and Niegel we have been working like crazy to clean up the yard.

I have been working in the backyard; along the property line cleaning we had several forsythia bushes. Since we wanted to maintain a small flowering garden we have control the growth of the forsythia bushes. At least for the time we like to think that we have control the forsythia bushes.

Now that we have done most of our planting the bulbs as well; things are looking good. I meant yard looks much cleaner. Since I have done planting and beds are not fully covered, I meant with mulch the soil is exposed. We are blessed with a lot of worms in our land hope this is a good thing.

When I was doing my dishes I saw group of birds. Of course with much excitement I went and grab my camera and started taking pictures. I stayed inside afraid to go outside thinking the group of birds will fly away. I took some pictures from inside I do apologize for the clarity of the pictures but I hope you can see them and spot them. There were cardinal, woodpeckers, and finches and many more that I had no clue I have couple of books about birds I would love to get them out soon.

I was simply elated with flock of birds visiting our backyard and digging for worms…

Much needed walk…

Free picture collage personalized with Smilebox We had a lot going on I did my finals, and stress… so we all needed to tune in with nature, I know we didn’t dress up or the whole family was present. But this is the closet I could capture of FALL 2010… may be next year it will be better… We enjoyed the last bits of fading the summer of 2010… birds are busy eating and packing up to fly south… change of colors and cold air… was great to feel… Quote of the day “plant evergreen” Enjoy! 

Handpick Flowers…

This is my second blog for today… I have done so much today… I really wanted you to enjoy this as much as I do…
Yesterday, I took the kids to the farm stand. My older one loves going to this farm stand because there are about literally more than 50 flavors of ice cream. But to my surprise he will not buy any ice cream he will get a soda or slush. I was disappointed to find the soda that they have hiked up the soda price to a $ 1.50 from 0.99 cents. I have to admit I love there sodas so much I am not a very big soda drinker but when it comes this one I love it. I had a lemon lime which was really nice on a sunny day.
They had day old corn for $ 2.75 they were already shucked. I have introduced my older one to eat patty pan squash few summers ago he loves it very much and I do too. We bought some patty pan squash, tomatoes, honey, and handpicked flowers.
About flowers … I loved them zinnias were beautiful and she also had single stem zinnias for 0.30 cents each and sunflowers for $ 1.75 each. While I was there I helped a customer to add some sunflowers to already made bouquets and I simply could not resist ignoring not to bring some flowers home. I love to have fresh flowers at home as well as to give fresh flowers to friends. I spent $ 6.60 to bring some flowers with a glass jar I think it was a great buy and helped a small business. They look really nice on my mantel with pictures…
My little one as soon as she woke up this morning she notice the flowers and started to point at it… and the pictures. Yesterday was a crazy day for us with one car trying to take kids out for a treat, and pick up 10 things… but we survived and I went to knitting. There is a fresh project in my hand. That what’s a matter at the end…

Exercise… Exercise…

I am finally getting out of the house to exercise I need to be healthy for my kids. But who can guarantee life or health… I have been in all spectrums of life… do I complain Oh yeah… a whole lot of complaining but do I bounce through it yes, I have done and will continue to do so… when I was expecting I went through all kind of medical tests to; top of the pregnancy while my hubby was working out of state and me working on a full time job, managing a house and tending to homework every single night was it hectic of course it was. Was that the only thing I faced HELL no there was other factors consuming major part of my time and energy.

I am taking care of myself for my children I want to be there for them I hate been without a comfy cushion (my mother I miss her very much in my life.) I sometime feel angry and felt been left alone I don’t want to do that for my children I want to be there for them want to spoil the grandchildren in other words I want to AGE with GRACE…

Enough of my writing I started to walk I have gone walking two days so far; GOD HELP me to keep going. I plan to do this the whole summer. Now that the schools out and we are still going on NO TV till 2 YEARS we need things to do KIDS MUST WALK with me ha… ha...

I invite and join everyone I know when it comes to walking. We take this BIKE ROUTE which is really cool because I can let my kids walk and run its safe for children.
Are we ready for this, yes, we are, we have sunscreen, mosquito repellant, water, stroller and a bike. We do plan to take off on weekends to keep our family time together. May be we switch Saturday & Wednesday.

What my children enjoy a lot is can ride the bike safely, and we pass a lot four legged friends which my little one is obsessed with. DOGGGGY , She does a wonderful job in stressing that “G” makes me smile every day…

I love to see at objects or I would say nature with a different prospect… we were in Florida couple of weeks ago and I took the kids out for a walk everything was manmade but nature is still beautiful in its capacity… we were strolling down the city walk by the Universal Studio and it was beautifully landscaped and hotels were beautifully architected…
Personally I think people who cannot afford to make a trip to Europe or Africa it was a great escape children can learn a lot from the programs offered by the hotel and theme park staff…
Palm trees were gorgeous… this is a close up of the palm tree trunk how it looks when the leaves are fallen the fiber is interwoven naturally but breathtaking… fun is no cast on stitches or pearling… it’s just fiber in a natural harmony…
I love the simple stuff in nature….
